Each session features a brief run through a piece of chant. My aim is to send out the piece with vocabulary and crossword puzzle and a recording about a week in advance so students can learn the words and music ahead of time. The session ends with a quiz going through vocabulary and a few questions on reading chant notation. This term we’re thinking of using Blooket for the quiz.

Much of the material tends to come from Veronica’s book A New Book of Old Hymns.

We keep in touch via a Signal group. Sometimes we need to change the schedule.

I’m hoping to make recordings available for people who can’t make the timeslot.
