It’s a funny thing to study – so much misinformation! We have Karl Adam’s Roots of the Reformation plus Cobbet’s book and R H Benson’s historical novels. Also a short life of St Thomas More.

Following Charlotte Yonge’s book on Roman History has been great this term. She strikes a good balance between brevity and interesting detail with a Christian perspective. It is easy enough to cross reference with other websites plus our Historical Atlas.

The Aborigines thought that the white people were gone for good, but that was not the case. In 1787, the First Fleet, led by Arthur Phillip, set out from Britain on a long voyage to Australia.
