This time we’re up for the week after the 2nd Sunday after Easter! Every day is a feria, so Father has picked a different votive Mass for every day, opening up a veritable cornucopia of music.

Here’s a video I prepared earlier - it’s a bit waffly, but hopefully it hits the spot: And you can get the just latin sheet music or the Institute of Christ the King copy, which is great for nice big print.

This time we need to be really organised as the Zoom session is supposed to cut out at the 40 minute mark. My plan is: 2pm for greetings 2.10 Victimae Paschali Laudes 2.

As this next piece is a bit long, I’d like to go over some tips on Reading Gregorian Chant. There’s a very good slideshow here. Also there is currently a free colouring book about learning to read Gregorian Chant at Frog Music’s Sacred Music Shelf Space.

This Friday 21st February is down as the first Choir Practice Online! We’re preparing for Easter, learning Missa Cum Jubilo and other Easter Chant. A Link to the Kyrie at Corpus Christi Watershed.

The photo is a shot of the whiteboard in the choir loft at the end of the retreat in 2019. Easter fell on April 21, so we had ANZAC Day on the Thursday.
