This camp runs September 10-15 Last year we ended up singing Mass 1. Mass 8 and Mass 11 were a bit more tricky. Also, last year we psalm toned quite a few of the propers.

We have embarked on a project of making a weekly chant class. This is actually the second lesson - I had made a recording for the first lesson, but it was even more embarrassing than this one, so I’ll need a bit more time to work on it.

The Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary comes from the Divine Office. It shares similarities with the office of Our Lady on Saturdays. Many find it easier to pray than the full Divine Office, reading through the eight hours each day either in Latin or English.

Sometimes things take me a while to finish a project. But I finished this one in under a year. Just. Cantus Selecti is a selection of chant from the monks of Solesmes.

Regina Caeli is one of the four Marian Antiphons to take us round the Church’s liturgical year. We say the Regina Caeli from Easter through the Octave of Pentecost. It also takes the place of the Angelus at this time, so we get to sing it LOTS!
