Adoremus in aeternum

As the Blessed Sacrament is returned to the tabernacle and the priest and servers prepare to leave it is customary to sing a recessional. Adoremus in aeternum is the most commonly used, but there are lots of suitable pieces.

Antiphon: Adoremus in aeternum, sanctissimum Sacramentum.
Psalm 116 (the shortest one in the Book)
Laudate Dominum omnes gentes: laudate eum omnes populi.
Quoniam confirmata est super nos misericordia ejus:
et veritas Domini manet in aeternum.
(repeat the antiphon) Adoremus…

Gloria Patri, Filio, et Spiritui Sancto: Sicut erat in principio,
et nunc et semper, et in saecula sæculorum. Amen.
(repeat the antiphon) Adoremus…
