Ancient Rome – government

We read chapters 7 and 8 of Charlotte Yonge’s book Young Folk’s History of Rome. This described the developing political structure of the Roman Republic.

There are many, many diagrams to try explain the structure, but as the structure changed over time it is probably a good idea to make your own.

Then we printed Menenius Agrippa’s Fable in Easy Latin double spaced in Jardotty and used the space between lines to piece together something of a translation using Laura Gibbs’ handy vocab list.
